Meet a few of our military personnel

Marquita Fortner

Military Title: Supply Corps Officer, U.S. Navy
Current Title: Senior Analyst, Domestic Network Planning

The Navy taught me adaptability and the skill of working well under pressure. Delta Air Lines operates in a rapidly changing and challenging industry and my military experience has helped me be successful in that environment. Delta has been immensely supportive of my career in the Navy Reserves. My leadership and colleagues are understanding and accommodating when my training requirements take me out of the office.

Curt Robinson

Military Title: USAF Staff Sergeant, Helicopter Maintenance Crewchief and Instructor
Current Title: Product Line Manager, Landing Gear Shop

The time spent in the military was monumental in preparing me for my career at Delta. I was able to get my A & P licenses and a BS in Education during my time in the Air Force. My time in the Air Force prepared me for leadership at Delta by offering opportunities to lead teams of mechanics. Simply put, everything I do at Delta has somehow been influenced or shaped by my time in the military. Disciple, multi-tasking, thinking on the run and professionalism are at the top of the list of skills I attained in the Air Force that I use now at Delta.

Marietta Landon

Military Title: Captain, United States Air Force
Current Title: Market Group Leader Domestic Pricing in Revenue Management

In the military you learn how to make important decisions very quickly in a constantly changing environment. This has helped me in my various roles at Delta and specifically within the pricing environment since it is a very fast paced area where decisions and actions must be analyzed and acted upon quickly.
